Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was himself an orphan, and encouraged us to assist the orphan. As it is mentioned in a tradition, he said:
“I and the one who looks after an orphan will be in Paradise like this,” and he held up his index and middle fingers together to illustrate the closeness.
