Sadaqah

The beauty of Sadaqah lies in its intention. This voluntary, charitable act shields against hellfire and can bring you blessings in this life, and mercy in the next.

It is a voluntary act of charity given purely for the sake of Allah — a means of earning reward, seeking protection, and drawing closer to His mercy.

A heartfelt smile or assisting someone can also be acts of Sadaqah, but you have the opportunity for your Sadaqah to do even more.

Your Sadaqah can ease hardship, feed families, support the sick, and bring relief to those facing poverty or crisis. It transforms lives, and it also purifies the heart, softens the soul, and increases barakah in your own life.

There is no fixed amount or time for Sadaqah. Any Muslim with the means can give, at any time, in any amount.

Give today — and let your Sadaqah towards the Ummah be a source of mercy, protection and lasting impact.

Abu Malik al-Ashari (ra) narrated that Allah’s Messenger (PBUH) said:

“Cleanliness is half of faith. Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah) fills the scale. SubhanAllah (Glory be to Allah) and Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah) fill up what is between the heavens and the earth. Prayer is a light. Charity is proof (of one’s faith). Endurance is a brightness and the Qur‘an is a proof on your behalf or against you. All men go out early in the morning and sell themselves, thereby setting themselves free or destroying themselves.”

(Muslim, 432)
