In a famous hadith, Sa’d ibn ‘Ubadah asked the Prophet ﷺ, “Which charity is best?” and the Prophet replied, “A drink of water.” [Sunan An-Nasai]

We are coming together to honor the legacies of Siti Qodiriyah and Sri Sulawiningsih by building water wells that will serve as a continuous charity (sadaqah jariya). These water wells will provide clean and safe water to those in need, ensuring their memories live on through every drop of water that quenches a thirst.

Siti Qodiriyah and Sri Sulawiningsih were beloved individuals whose strength and faith inspired everyone around them. Their grace and resilience, even in the face of their battle with cancer, touched the hearts of family and friends. Through these water wells, their nurturing spirits and enduring legacies of kindness and devotion to their deen will be remembered for generations to come.
