Israel is Starving Gaza deliberately, systemically, cruelly<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Israel is deliberately starving over 2.1 million people in Gaza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is blocking food. Poisoning water. Bombing hospitals. And now, Israel has escalated airstrikes again. Homes, shelters, and displacement camps are under direct attack. In just a few hours, Israeli forces killed more than 200 people and injured hundreds more. Most of the victims are women and children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Israel has wiped out entire communities in Rafah, Khan Younis, and Gaza City. It is targeting aid distribution points. It is killing healthcare workers. There is no safety. No ceasefire. No protection for civilians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Famine is no longer a threat. It is here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a statement, 111 organisations \u2014 including Mercy Corps, the Norwegian Refugee Council, and Refugees International \u2014 said that \u201cmass starvation\u201d is spreading, even as tonnes of food, clean water, and medical supplies sit untouched just outside Gaza, blocked from entering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For months, Israel has obstructed nearly all humanitarian aid. It has destroyed farmland, bombed bakeries, and cut off supply routes. It has targeted civilians with the intent to starve, displace, and destroy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Human Rights Watch calls it what it is: collective punishment.<\/strong>
And it is happening in real time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, no. Like most charities, we are unable to bring aid directly into Gaza through the borders. Since March 2025, the borders have been shut, and what little aid does enter is controlled by a US-Israeli managed company \u2014 part of a strategy that weaponises aid and limits access for Palestinians.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/details>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

We work with long-standing, trusted partners who are based inside Gaza. Through these local networks, our partners are sourcing essential supplies such as vegetables, beans, wheat, lentils, clean water, and materials for basic health supplies. While meat is no longer available due to the blockade, these supplies allow us to provide critical daily nourishment.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/details>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

Our teams on the ground are delivering food and water across North, Central, and South Gaza<\/strong>, wherever access allows and need is greatest. For the safety of our staff, we operate in the “safer” areas of each location. As long as our partners are able to access local supplies and safely distribute aid, we will continue delivering food and water every single day. But the situation is worsening.
