{"id":2306,"date":"2025-02-20T03:15:04","date_gmt":"2025-02-20T03:15:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/maainternational.org.au\/?p=2306"},"modified":"2025-06-30T14:23:30","modified_gmt":"2025-06-30T04:23:30","slug":"australia-drought-relief-round-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/maainternational.org.au\/australia-drought-relief-round-4\/","title":{"rendered":"Australia Drought Relief &#8211; Round 4"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In early November, Muslim Aid Australia (MAA), in association with partners Muslim Charitable Foundation (MCF) and with the assistance of 20 semi-trailers generously supplied by the Deen Family, successfully delivered over 200,000 litres of water and 130 tonnes of hay bales in Round 4 of Drought Relief operations in Stanthorpe, Queensland.<br>\u00a0<br>This was on the back of a similar operation by MAA in August in Stanthorpe, and continues from\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/maainternational.org.au\/see-your-impact\/news-events\/drought-relief-helping-australian-farmers\">last year\u2019s multiple rounds of relief work targeting Australian farmers<\/a>\u00a0which also involved distribution of over 130 tonnes of hay bales and hundreds of food hampers in Goondiwindi in the NSW-QLD border. Behind the scenes of each distribution is a lot of design work, including establishing the need, talking to the locals, and then designing the project accordingly.
